Eleanor Henderson
Acupuncturist – British Acupuncture Council (BAcC)
Eleanor trained in sports massage and reflexology prior to her acupuncture degree and uses this knowledge within her treatments. Along with a BSc TCM Acupuncture she has also gained a diploma in clinical practice from Nanjing, China after working in two hospitals over there.
Although acupuncture theory allows the treatment of a broad variety of conditions, Eleanor has a special interest in women’s health specialising in irregular periods, stress, polycystic ovarian syndrome, fibroids, fertility (natural & assisted / in-vitro fertilisation), pregnancy, nausea, back pain, sciatica, migraines, headaches, depression, anxiety, arthritis and menopausal symptoms.
Linda Harris
Chiropodist | Podiatrist
Linda qualified as a podiatrist/chiropodist in 1985 and worked in the NHS for 18 years specialising in diabetic footcare. In 2004 she had the opportunity to become the lead podiatrist at the John Lewis Partnership working to look after all the staff in the business, taking care of their acute foot and musculoskeletal problems and advising on their footwear issues.
In 2018 she was privileged to be awarded a Fellowship by the College of Podiatry and Podiatric icons to acknowledge services to her profession.
After 14 years of communing into central London from Bexhill, she is delighted to now only travel a mile to the Body Junction to now care for feet in the Bexhill area.

I am focused on improving the client’s mental and physical well being using massage techniques and essential oils.
I studied at Eastbourne College gaining a Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology and a Level 3 Certificate in Stone Therapy Massage.
I have recently trained in Pregnancy and Indian Head Massage bringing even more techniques and choice to The Body Junction.
I am fully insured and a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists.

Osteopath
Claire qualified as an osteopath in 2022 having worked at the European school of Osteopathy clinic in Maidstone for two years previous.
There she has worked alongside some leading specialists in sports, headache clinic, women’s health and in the children’s clinic.
She enjoys treating adults of all ages but has special interests in maternity, babies and children and working with the family as a unit.
Treatment options include a mixture of structural, functional and cranial techniques that are best suited to the patient and their health, wellbeing or conditions. With the addition of acupuncture for some patients as an adjunct alongside these therapies.

Wellness is a big part of my lifestyle. I stay active at the gym and regularly use the sauna, steam room, and ice baths to support my own health. I’m naturally bubbly and talkative, yet I bring a calm, grounded energy to my work. Clients often say I’m easy to talk to, a great listener, and that I create a welcoming space where they can truly unwind.

Medical Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and Sport Therapy
Originally I was taught massage as part of my Karate club in the 80’s but it wasn’t until 2012 that I started on the full journey starting learning about Ayurvedic health and nutrition moving into sport therapy and then MLD. Due to the clinical nature my retraining in MLD yearly.
Medical Lymphatic Drainage is highly skilled form of drainage. Medical is sometimes used to differentiate the clinical skills, allowing us to deal with patients with compromised systems. I use two versions, one taught and used by the NHS & Macmillan Cancer which is Casley-Smith and a newer method by LTA called Fill & Flush (FG-MLD®).
MLD helps with various conditions that include fatigue and pain. Research points to the MLD as assisting in the management of various disease such as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s.
Chronic and post-surgery treatment for oedema (swelling)/lymphoedema. If swelling is present and not reducing, there is a chance it may become lymphoedema and must be dealt with to avoid further complications.
Lymphoedema has a 6 pillar approach to it’s maintenance of which MLD forms one, as a certified therapist I can assist with insight to all of these but the most important one is the willingness of the patient to take control.
Some types of surgery and cancer treatment may affect the lymph system, and this may need to be managed. This is where certified therapists can assist as it is not just about the treatment but also the education provided and the observations of progression.
Sessions for MDL start at £85
Sports therapy
Treatment for soft tissue injuries, general aches and pains using different massage techniques. I mix holistic with clinical to try and obtain the best outcome for clients.
Where required the use of modalities such as: Ultrasound, Red Light Therapy, Static and dynamic Cupping and Kinesio Taping and vibration devices like the massage gun.
I have used these successfully for a number of years and have had some good results.
