Parkinsons Class
Parkinson’s disease is caused by a loss of nerve cells in part of the brain called the substantia nigra. This leads to a reduction in a chemical called dopamine in the brain. Dopamine plays a vital role in regulating the movement of the body.
We organise a movement class for people with Parkinson and we encourage new attendees:
- St Augustines Church Hall, St Augustines Close, Bexhill.
- Tuesdays at 11:30am until 12:15.
Tea and coffee is available for supporters during the first part of the class.
Everyone is friendly and it’s full of fun & gentle exercises helping you to keep your mobility and muscles strong. Seated and standing exercises focus on posture and balance.
This affordable Parkinsons class is gentle of your pocket at only £5. All are welcome, please feel free to bring your husbands, wives, siblings and carers fro free (one per person).
